Brianna babysat for us once. She was friendly, personable, and arrived on time with a positive attitude. However, during the visit, I was disappointed by her response when my 4-month-old began crying. While I was in a work meeting, I had to step out to find my daughter crying in her nursery, with Brianna sitting nearby but not actively trying to soothe her. At a rate of $23/hour, I had hoped for more confidence and skill in caring for an infant, especially in moments of distress.
