I'm a fun loving, creative, and enthusiastic 21-year-old looking for more experiences working with children and teens :) The past 2 years I have experience working with children with special needs for the Autism Society of NC. I've worked with those on the spectrum from age 4 all the way to age 22! I also have experience with Rett Syndrome, ADHD, and other special needs from various volunteer opportunities/a past job as a habilitation technician. Hopefully, I am able to assist families despite COVID and gain more experience as I continue my degree in Special Education with minors in Applied Behavior Analysis and Psychology (I'm in my junior year at UNCW)! I've also now worked for multiple families through Care. com that include kids of different ability levels and ages! At school, I also have experience working as a writing tutor at the University Learning Center, Resident Assistant in the residence halls, and a tour guide on campus.
