Hello, my name is Brianna C. and I am currently a junior at Arcadia University. l am a Psychology/Pre-Physician Assistant major. For the past 3 years, I have worked as a caretaker for a 22-year-old male with Cerebral Palsy. He is nonverbal and almost entirely wheelchair-bound. I assist in feeding him, transferring him, cleaning him, changing him, and attending appointments with him. I have worked with his Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and Speech Therapist as well. In addition to that, I have a ton of fun with him! We go swimming, I help him ride his bike, we play music together, I assist him with his gait-trainer, etc. I have also worked the past two summers with a 14-year-old girl with Smith Lemli Opitz Syndrome. I have also assisted her in feeding, changing, cleaning, etc. I am CPR certified and have my own car. I am currently taking online-only classes and would love some part-time hours! Thanks!
