I was vice president of Best Buddies, a club at my high school that helped special needs kids feel normal and interact with regular education students. I have worked at multiple preschools and am now an special education major at SSC. I am also a lifeguard for Orange County Park and Rec. I am passionate about what I do because I believe it is my calling. It takes someone special to work with, love, encourage and inspire these children and I feel it's my place.
