I oversaw my moms healthcare and declining dementia for 11 years. I also received my Medical Assistant Certificate shortly before I noticed the decline. It started with myself and one caregiver taking care of my mom and wound up being myself 4 caregivers and one overnighter all the way up to hospice. I did the scheduling, refilled the petty cash, made sure the meds were always well stocked.
