About Brian

I am a senior pursuing a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science, with a focus on secondary mathematics education. Through my coursework, I have gained classroom experience observing teachers and teaching mathematics lessons. Next semester, I will complete my student teaching at Columbus High School. I tutor elementary, middle, and high school students, helping them strengthen their skills and confidence as problem-solvers. I believe every student can excel. Since students learn in different ways, I adapt my explanations to meet each student's needs. My goal is not only to help students find the correct answer, but also to address misconceptions, build foundational skills, and develop independent problem-solving abilities. I encourage students to explain what they are doing, how they are doing it, and why their approach works.
