I have worked with one test-prep and tutoring company (based in Montgomery County) since 2001. I have been employed with a second such company (based in Chester County) since January of this year. Before that, I was employed at a tutoring facility in Delaware County for two years. I also work part-time as a home-bound instructor for Marple Newtown School District, serving as a supplementary tutor for students out of school for extended periods of time. I believe that many students are "phobic" about certain school subjects -- math, for example -- and I enjoy helping students overcome those phobias. Students often know and understand more than they think they do.
