I have been teaching for 9 years as a substitute teacher and special education assistant. I taught math and english for general education and special education. Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching philosophy. With nine years of experience, I specialize in special education, English, and math for elementary, middle school, and high school students. I hold a college degree, and I enjoy teaching special ed. I adapt my approach by using visual aids and hands-on activities. I break down difficult problems into manageable steps, I help students build the confidence they need to succeed. I value open communication with families to ensure we are working as a collaborative team.
