About Brenda

My name is Brenda and I'm a former care manager turned homeschool mom of 3 (an 8 y/o and 3 y/o twins). I have a background in Psychology and Social Work, and previously worked as a Care Manager for youth with behavioral health and development disabilities, for over 7 years. My family and friends would describe me as being compassionate, caring, and responsible. As a homeschool educator, I have experience engaging children in educational and developmentally appropriate activities. I strongly believe children learn best through play in nature, and am inspired by Charlotte Mason and Montessori educational philosophies. I am friendly and outgoing, and can connect well with children of all ages (yes, including teens). I am comfortable assisting with light housekeeping, errands, meal prep, sport drop off/pick up, and homework. I am also fully bilingual in Spanish and English. I look forward to providing your little one with exceptional support and care.
