For over 20 years I have worked with individuals with various special needs and challenges so my experience is quite diverse. I am so passionate about what I do I am a guardian for a gentleman with developmental disabilities. During my profession I have worked with individuals with autism, behavioral issues, developmental disabilities, epilepsy, brain stem stroke, schizophrenia to name a few. I also would transport to appointments, activities, assist with PT, daily living skills, hygiene, etc. Taking care of others is something that just comes natural to me. When caring for others loved one's it is really important for the individual and the family to be comfortable and trust the caregiver. Compassionate, empathetic and patient are words that describe me, oh, and did I mention that I also have a sense of humor? I am DDS Med Certified, CPR & First Aid Certified, trained for a Hoyer Lift, etc. I hope that I am able to meet with you to further discuss your needs. Thank you, Brenda
