I have worked with children for over 25 years. I have taught from preschool to high school. I've taught at private schools in the 2nd grade through 8th grade. I have worked running an off-track school-age program and after school program for 10 years. I have worked as a private nanny for seven families for the past five years. We recently moved to Fernley from CA and I miss my families I took care very much. I am looking forward to working with new families here in NV. I love doing crafting, cooking, experiments, reading and games with children, as well as working on homework and tutoring. I am first aid and CPR certified, and have lots of references.

Bree is an incredible nanny to our two children. She brings warm, creativity, and consistency to our kids lives, making everyday feel like a new adventure all while still having fun. She always shows up with patience, energy, and genuine enthusiasm for our children. We are incredibly happy to have her in our son and daughter’s life’s. 

Brenda reached out a day after I signed up for this. She was able to have a over the phone interview and we hired her on the spot! I love that she has sooo much experience! With us having a non-verbal autistic teen I was worried that it would be too difficult but everything went great! Plus she was super reliable and was able to drive quite a distance to get to our home which was very much appreciated. I will defintally be keeping her in contact when we go on our next date night. Brenda is communicative both about sitting times/schedule and keeps us updated with photos while we are out. She brings fun toys with her so our 2yr old is excited when she comes. She is on time and kind. Would recommend.

Brenda been absolutely fantastic with our child. She's reliable, and responsible. She always comes prepared and ensures our child is safe and well-cared for. We've had nothing but positive experiences with her, and we feel at ease knowing our child is in her capable hands whenever we need her and she is available.

Ms. Bree is amazing! She showed up with a tub full of activities for the kids and went right to playing after introductions. We have 3 kiddos 6 and under. It is chaos. She sent us constant updates, played with them, read with them and when we got back home the kids were begging us to go on another date night so Bree could come back. We will definitely be hiring her for more date nights and recommend anyone else to as well. 

Ms Bree is such a great sitter. My kids absolutely adore her and can't wait for her to come back. She sends pictures of all the fun stuff they are doing and keeps them engaged and happy. She brings a tote of new fun things to enjoy and play with. Very dependable, positive and patient.

Ms. Bre is truly a delight for our family. She takes amazing care of our son, and he truly enjoys her company. She's punctual, brings toys, does overnights, and provides an ease and comfort that only a seasoned nanny could. I know I have nothing to worry about when my son is in her care, she's very good about providing updates and pictures and can usually accommodate dates and times. Great nanny!

Bree is absolutely amazing. I have 3 year old twins who can be a handful at times. My nephew was visiting and he was scared to have his mom leave and Bree was able to calm him and he was having so much fun before we even left. She fed them and sent pics of them throughout the night. Highly recommended. She is absolutely amazing. Love you already Bree! Welcome to the family lol

Ms. Bree is a true gem. She has been a part-time nanny at our home for my two-year-old son since Nov 2020. Bree is calm, patient, and prioritizes my child and his needs and feelings first and foremost. She brings crafts, puzzles, and toys with her each morning, and does more activities in a day with my son than I can count. From coloring, painting, and crafting to learning activities (ABC's, vocabulary through play, etc.), she is always actively focused on him. They also reads books, sing songs, and play outside together. Bree makes my son snacks and lunch, and always cleans up afterward. I couldn't ask for a better caretaker and wish I could hire her full-time, but she works for other families long-term. She is also flexible if I don't need childcare coverage for a few weeks, which is really nice. Bree also likes to update me on what activities they're doing throughout the morning, and I love seeing pictures of my son so happy with her. She can easily calm him down when he gets upset, too. I can't stress how patient and kind Ms. Bree is - she really understands children and is FUN. My son looks forward to her coming over every time. My recommendation for Ms. Bree could not be higher, she is absolutely wonderful.

She is timely, very dependable. Really great with our twins. She send pics of the kids thru the nite playing n smiling which is great. Highly recommended as she certainly knows how to properly take care of kids.

Our family has never used care.com and we've only used one other "non-family" member sitter. We were in town for my husbands birthday and wanted a quiet evening alone to celebrate. Brenda was professional, caring and fun...our kids loved her and we felt so comfortable with her right away!! We'll definitely use her again when we return to the Reno area!! Brenda has been so awesome with my one and two year old. She is always on time and even does fun crafts with them! She sends me lots of photos during the time I am away to keep my mind at ease and she even puts up with my very weird and highly unorganized life/schedule. I did not know her prior to finding her through Care.com and I am so glad I chose her to watch my children.

Bree has been a tremendous help with my 13 year old son!  She comes and takes care of him when I need to go out of town for work and it has been a huge relief to have someone I know I can trust with him and our two dogs. Brenda helps a couple days a week with my 7 month daughter and is WONDERFUL. She is very patient and gives 100% of her time and attention to my baby. My daughter enjoys it when Miss Bre comes over because she takes her for lots of walks! I am so grateful I found Bre!

Would highly recommend Bree. I have three daughters who absolutely adore her. She keeps them busy with crafts and activities. She's flexible, reliable, and does a good job caring for my daughter who's Type 1 Diabetic. 

Brenda showed up a little early and jumped immediately into caretaker roll so that I could finish getting ready. She was flexible and was able to stay longer than we had planned. My boys (ages 1&2) loved her. Thanks Brenda!

Brenda took great care of our 2.5 year old son on two occasions, absolutely recommend her if staying in the Tahoe / Reno area.  Wonderful experience!
