About Brenda

I have been working with kids pretty much my whole life, starting in 3rd grade when I would work with younger children who needed peer assistance learning to read. My mother worked in schools and childcare, which I would visit and assist. I graduated college with a degree in Elementary Education and since then I have enjoyed the freedom and personalized attention of one-on-one, in-home childcare. In my spare time, I study music theory, piano, guitar, and ukulele. My hope is to one day create a musical and educational kids channel. I'd describe my personality as curious, bubbly, and sing-song-y (I know the word is musical, but making up words is fun too!)
