I am a warm, loving, and patient caregiver with over 10 years of experience with infants and toddlers. I enjoy supporting parents and creating a safe, enriching environment for little ones. From 2018 to 2019, I cared for a wonderful 2-year-old for 1. 5 years (30 hours per week), following feeding/sleep schedules, preparing meals, doing light cleaning/laundry, and engaging him in learning activities, including Spanish. I have also supported families postpartum and worked as a teacher's aide in daycares and preschools during undergrad. I am a grad student at NYU Silver School of Social Work and seeking a part-time nanny position (2-3 days per week) preferably in the Montclair area. I am available Wednesday through Friday, 7 a.m. through 5pm, with some flexibility. I am a non-smoker, comfortable with pets, and due for BLS CPR recertification. Brenda currently cares for our 15-month-old son two days per week (mom works part-time). We have worked with her for almost 4 months, and she is wonderful. We recommend her highly and without any reservations. She is a responsible, caring, warm, and exceptionally thoughtful person. It is so clear that she enjoys spending time with our son, and she goes above and beyond to engage him and keep him active. She is really thoughtful about his development and tries to do stimulating activities that she takes the time to look up as age-appropriate. She is highly communicative with us, sending pictures and short videos throughout the day, which we love. She is also open to feedback, readily asks questions, and makes sure she is meeting our needs. We feel so lucky to have her!
