In 2008 I returned to WSU (online) to obtain my State of Washington Professional Education Certificate, the highest level of teacher certification in Washington. In between, I earned my first Washington State teaching certificate from Saint Martin's College (2002). I am a highly qualified teacher with 20 years of teaching experience in Washington public schools. My focus has been in secondary Language Arts and Social Studies. In March 2020 I was hired as a substitute teacher in the Kent School District and passed the district-mandated background check.
