About Brenda

Hello! My name is Brenda and I am a dedicated educator with over 12 years of experience teaching K-3. I have worked in dual language classrooms (Spanish) giving me a strong understanding of how children learn in diverse and meaningful ways. I have a true passion for teaching math and love helping students build confidence, strong foundational skills, and a positive mindset toward learning. In addition to being a teacher, I am also a mom of two boys (ages 9 and 11). Being both a parent and an educator has deepened my understanding of child development, learning styles, and the importance of patience, encouragement, and connection. I would love the opportunity to support your child through one-on-one tutoring, providing personalized lessons tailored to their unique needs, strengths, and goals. My goal is to help students grow academically while also fostering confidence and a love of learning. I look forward to working with your family!
