About Brendan

Hi, I'm Brendan. I'm originally from Brooklyn and have lived in Rhinebeck since 2019. I've cared for kids as young as 4 and aim to be someone they feel safe and comfortable around. I'm calm, attentive, and consistent, and I believe kids do best with structure. I focus on real interaction instead of screens, while always respecting family rules. I enjoy doing activities like gardening, walks and bike rides, arts and crafts, building projects, cooking together, board games, beginner skiing, and baseball basics. I like keeping kids active because it helps with focus, moods, and sleep. I'm happy to help with homework, especially math, and can support most subjects through middle school. I'm willing to help with household tasks related to the kids while encouraging them to clean up and build independence. I have reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and defensive driving experience. I was CPR certified in the past and am happy to renew it.
