My goal as a registered and licensed CNA is to provide my client with the best help possible, to keep my clients active and involved, clean, safe, healthy and happy. I have over 19 years of experience with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Stroke and MS clients. 9+ years in Massachusetts and the last 11 years in 
the Palm Beach areas. I am a very outgoing, passionate, caring and compassionate individual. I love what I have chosen to do and know that I have made a difference in all the clients and families who I have been associated with. My duties have included bathing, dressing, transfers, feeding, toileting, medication management and grooming. Meal planning, meal preparation, grocery shopping, dishes and kitchen clean-up will always be done. I will report any changes in a client's mental, physical or emotional condition immediately. Brenda has been assisting my mother who has trouble with mobility. She has a great attitude and not only provides the needed tasks, but brings a positive outgoing personality which assists my mother tremendously. She is very flexible and someone I feel I can trust with my mother's care. Both my mother and myself are very happy with her services and she has been a tremendous help with transportation, errands, and the day to day tasks and assistance needed.

Brenda took care of me for 7 months while I was recovering from open heart surgery. She was a life saver! Brenda organized my daily medication and made sure all were taken, cooked, shopped, paid bills, organized my mail and made sure I was comfortable at all times. She made sure we walked everyday and saw doctors when needed. Brenda took care of all my personal needs (bathing, dressing, and toilet) and kept me in high spirits. Today, I am healthier than ever and will always be thankful for the help, wonderful care, loyalty, understanding, patience, compassion, companionship and love that I received from Brenda. I would recommend Brenda to anyone that needs help. She is also very punctual, has a great sense of humor and is a wonderful individual.

Brenda was fantastic with my mother up until the day she passed.  Mom felt very comfortable with Brenda and she keep us informed on her health and happiness. Brenda was a god send.  She was hired as a caregiver for my mom.  She is the best in her field.  She is knowledgeable and experienced in dealing with all sorts of situations.  She cared for my mom for 2.5 - 3 years and there was never a bad day.  My mom had her last great years with Brenda.  She was a shinning star through what could have been a very dark time.  She is loving and capable. She is medically trained and knows how to handle many situations. Hiring someone to care for your loved ones is not an easy process.  Many of us have been there and know your pain.  Brenda can be relied on and trusted to do a fantastic job.  You can know your loved ones are safe and secure with Brenda. It is my pleasure to recommend Brenda for employment. She worked for my family, providing care for both of my elderly parents for over two years, and we were truly devastated that she moved away. She is, and will be, irreplaceable. 

Brenda began helping my parents when they were both in an assisted living facility. We had moved my parents from their lifelong home to be closer to my sister and me, and the adjustment was very hard on them. Their decline accelerated and it became clear that we needed additional help. My mother had Multiple Sclerosis and needed a tremendous amount of help, and my father was showing signs of dementia, and is also in kidney failure, has limited mobility due to arthritis, and several other health issues. We had observed Brenda caring for other residents and she was immediately our first choice. When Brenda became part of my parents' lives, my sister and I were finally able to rest easy. 

Brenda not only helped my parents with any physical challenge they faced--dressing, toileting, hygiene, bathing, medical appointments--but had the remarkable ability to help them maintain their dignity and feel as independent as possible while doing so. She shared enough of herself that they came to love and care about her, and she learned about them so she could always talk with them about things they cared about. She helped them laugh at themselves when they could, and she cried with them when their was nothing else to do. 

She was a fierce advocate for them in the assisted living environment and, even more so later, when we had to move them both to a skilled nursing facility. She also had the unique ability to work both sides of the fence, so to speak. She always had the best interest of our parents as her top priority, but also befriended the staff in each facility so that they would be responsive to her--and to our parents' needs. 

When my mother passed away, Brenda was available to help us manage my father's confusion and grief that was, unfortunately, complicated by his dementia. She became a constant in my father's life, and helped him adjust to the loss of his lifelong partner, if that's possible. She created a routine for him, filling his days, and helping him to fill the void. 

Brenda also made sure to always communicate with my sister and me, to ensure we were aware of any issues--and of any joyful moments as well. She is reliable, honest, incredibly hardworking, and has a wonderful sense of humor. It's not an exaggeration to say that I don't know what we would have done, had we not found Brenda.
