About Brendalee

I'd describe my personality as calm, compassionate and honest I enjoy helping improve the quality of life to those I give care to and help them stay relatively independent. I'm looking for a job where I can help make someone feel secure and comfortable in their home, be a friend that cares with empathy and compassion, making sure their needs are met with kindness and patience and their dignity is preserved. I started caring for seniors when I was 13 in a community for retired missionaries. I cleaned their homes and helped with laundry. Later, I was carer for my husband's grandparents when they were in their 80s and one had a stroke and the other was blind. Additionally, I love animals, I'm a LMT, certified mental health coach, and am currently taking classes for my certification as a Brain Health Coach and classes for my BS in Psych. My skills include effective communication and listening, observation and attention to detail, and patience and understanding.
