About Brendalee

Taking care of children involves more than skills. Though I am certified in CPR/ First Aid, though I am degreed and have more than 12 years of work experience, my selling point has everything to do with the preparation of my heart to be present with children, right where they are, and to consider their whole being ( mind, body, spirit). Caring and nurturing children is a great responsibility and privilege. I've been a nanny, a paraprofessional in the public schools, and as an early childhood educator in private settings. The experience I have had, just being a single mom, however, has humbled me and given me many skills. I'm a 'yes' to books, writing, swimming, art, no stress baking/ cooking, theatre, and quality film. I enjoy teaching children but learning from them, being present to the simplicity of their being in the world, is bliss. I'm a calm and nurturing person, gentle with myself and others. I practice gratitude and live from an abundance of good in the universe.
