About Brenda

Hi, I'm Brenda a dependable and creative caregiver based in New York City. I'm currently pursuing a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lehman College. I also hold a BA in Communications with a minor in Psychology from Baruch College. I have hands-on experience working with children of all abilities, including in my current role as a special needs nanny and direct support provider. I focus on creating routines that help children feel safe, supported, and confident while also allowing room for fun . Outside of caregiving, I enjoy crafts, painting, and sewing, and I often bring those interests into my work with kids through creative play. I also love visiting museums and exploring science, history and culture, which has been a great way to introduce children to new ideas and experiences. My goal is always to meet children where they are, provide a calm and engaging environment that supports their growth in a mindful way.
