Brenda did a great job taking care of my 2 mo son. She was attentive to his needs and put amazing effort into teaching him animals, colors, and numbers in both English and Spanish. Brenda has been wonderful with our daughter from infant-hood through preschool age. As first-time parents it's been nice to have a seasoned professional to guide and help us. Before I met B, I couldn't have adequately described how amazing it feels to have a nanny who cares for your child as if she was her family. Our daughter was around 4 months old when B entered our home and she immediately got started helping us get our little one to hit her milestones and feel loved and cared for while my husband and I were at work. B is great at communicating with us when our plans or hers need to change, and she gives us sweet updates throughout the day. She's also great about asking us how we're doing things and wants to create a consistent environment for our daughter. We've also been dealing with navigating this COVID-19 situation and B has always kept health and safety top of mind. We would absolutely recommend her to any and all families and feel so lucky and grateful our daughter has B in her life!

Brenda has provided care for my premature twin infants from age 3 months (1 month adjusted) through a little over 4 months. She is great with the boys. She shows her passion for caring for infants. She is great at managing two babies at the same time. She is dependable and shows up on time. She is very willing to work with parents to help them meet their parenting goals (for example sleep training and feeding schedules), while providing her insights to new parents from her experience as a caregiver. I trust that my twins are in good hands under her care. She is knowledgeable and helps infants to meet their developmental goals. We had to unfortunately take a break from hiring Brenda due to our families decrease in work during the COVID19 outbreak, but hope to continue working with her in the future.

Brenda has been an amazing help in caring for our toddler girls. She helps get them dressed, breakfast in the morning and off to school.  Not an easy task sometimes with sleepy or moody toddlers! She is always patient and provides positive direction.  The girls love it when she does their hair! We feel blessed to have found her to help get our girls going in the morning!

Brenda is amazing with my 2 year old my husband and I hired her to watch him while we work. Not to mention she will keep you updated and send you pictures and update you on how your child is doing throughout the day which makes you feel safe and secure about your child. Always keeping him busy throughout the day and the skills she has with children is amazing. My son is getting better with his behavior and Brenda has guided us and helped us by giving us tips on how to deal with toddlers since we are first time parents she's a lot of help and we appreciate her so much I would definitely recommend. She's a gift from god.

Brenda is absolutely wonderful! As a first time mom I have been so hesitant about anyone watching my daughter but she did great! Brenda made her feel so comfortable right away by engaging with her in any way to have her smile. She then texted me with updates when I was away. Brenda was by far one of the best Nannies I've ever encountered. We hired Brenda to take care of our two boys (3 y/o and 3 month old). My 3 month old son was born 5 weeks premature and so Brenda made sure that each day they would do their "workouts". This involved tummy time, special exercises for muscle development and core strengthening. The development and nurturing of our sons was Brenda's priority and she exceeded our expectations when it came to taking care of them. Our 3 year old was a typical toddler and so was not the easiest to deal with but Brenda made an extra special effort to work on "course correction" and they ended up having the most wonderful relationship. I would highly recommend Brenda  to look after your child(ren) and plan on keeping in touch with her for future work.

Brenda helped us out when I took my 7 month old on a work trip and my sister was supposed to watch him and her plans changed and I needed coverage at the last minute.  She answered all of my questions and was easy to work with.  She stayed in the suite with my baby and sent me check ins regularly since I was really nervous about hiring a sitter online in a big city.  She never turned the TV on, she played with him and sang songs.  He was happy and exhausted when I returned to the room.  I would definitely hire her again when we come back to Chicago.

Brenda is a true GOD send! She RESCUED this overwhelmed Mom (& Dad), jumping in...feet first...helping us refocus and organize our family. She REALLY LISTENED attentively to our family's needs and began showing us why we ABSOLUTELY NEED her! Brenda is EXCEPTIONAL and HELPFUL with both my 2 and 3 year old special needs children, teaching our 3 yr old much needed FUSS-FREE POTTY TRAINING skills and communicating with our speech delayed 2 yr old in SIGN LANGUAGE! When she modeled soothing yet firm verbal POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT for my boys negative behavior, I truly believed I hired the REAL Mary Poppins! Brenda took them out to play and sent updates as the day progressed (LOVED THAT!!) She left my kitchen WAY CLEANER than I left it and even TAUGHT my messy husband how to HELP me by doing the laundry! Brenda is great with kids I'm just sad she moved to Chicago so she cant nanny my child. She watched me since I was a few days old and has been a sister to me since. Brenda, worked with our family while my son was a year old until he was about 3.5 years (part-time). Being a first time mom, I was very apprehensive of leaving my little one with someone alone, but Brenda put all my worries to rest by her caring and loving nature.
