About Brenda

I'd describe my personality as Insightful, cheerful and caring. I like tutoring because I can focus on the skills needed to help your child feel confident. I'm looking for a job that is fun for me and the students I work with. In my spare time, I like to exercise, craft, take walks on the beach and spend time with my family and friends One thing you should know about me is I've been a Montessori teacher for 30 years, teaching children from kindergarten through 3rd grade, focusing on the whole child. I have worked with many children with learning differences, building their confidence, providing a fun and systematic approach to learning. My skills include, strong classroom management. Working with small and large groups. Focusing on the skills needed using a systematic approach especially in reading.
