Nurturing children and watching them blossom has always been a passion of mine. My 20 years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, has solidified this calling. I am comfortable caring for up to four children at a time. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. I enjoy playing educational games that promote learning. I have some college experience and have completed Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Early Child Development Coursework. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules and will always follow your preferred communication method, whether it's a quick chat at pickup or regular updates via text or phone call. I am also happy to help with cooking and meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, and travel. I have been CPR and First Aid trained in the past but I'm not currently. Brenda is an amazing person and a wonderful caregiver. She was our nanny from the time our son was 9 months old until he was 2 years old. When we moved away, leaving Brenda was one of the most difficult things we had to do. If we could have taken her with her, we would have. She loves our son and has always treated him as if he was her own. She was very good about respecting our wishes, keeping him on his schedule, and always being there when we needed her (always 15 minutes early). She knew his schedule her first day on the job, and even got him to sleep for his nap without us having to step in. She was also a great teacher; she constantly engaged him by reading, speaking, and actively playing with him throughout the day. To her credit, he is ahead of all the other children in his toddler class. We miss her so much!
