About Brenda

About me: I'd describe my personality as fun, loving and compassionate. I studied Occupational Therapy, obtained a Paralegal Certificate at UNLV and earned a Birth Doula Certificate in 2021. I believe in the importance of continuing education. During college, I took two years of arts and crafts, worked with special needs patients and volunteered at children's hospitals and tutored children to help them pass their exams. I love teaching dance (was a ballroom instructor). My daughter started vocal training and acting at age 9. I taught her to swim and she became a mermaid! We love the Renaissance Fair, cosplay events and I hold random Superhero Days dance and crafts for the children I care for. I obtained a basic knowledge of child psychology and development during college and through life experience. I enjoy teaching language skills and creativity through art and music. I believe creativity promotes intelligence and learning. I hope my experience match your needs.
