About Breland

I am a Registered Nurse with a Master's Degree in Nursing, an active CPN (Certified Pediatric Nurse) certification status, and over 10 years of experience in the nursing care of children at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital, Children's Hospital of Orange County, and Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. My experience includes work in the NICU, PICU, Emergency Department, Medical & Surgical Units, and as a professor of pediatric nursing at three Southern California nursing schools. I have extensive knowledge of child development, childhood chronic illnesses, and care for children with acute illnesses and injuries. I am currently exploring an opportunity where I can utilize my professional skills, knowledge, and experience to help families in Southern California in different ways than I have in the past. I am more than happy to spend nights caring for an infant, days out at the park with a teenager with autism spectrum disorder, and everything in-between.
