I've worked everything from basic companionship to severe dementia and memory care. I know the overwhelming feeling for caring for someone and sometimes just need that extra help or just someone there. Caring for seniors is a different type of compassion than caring for children and not a lot of people can see or understand that. Senior care is a lot of helping with them ADLs and respecting them still because at the end of the day they are still adults who just need a extra helping hand with things. It's the same as how I'd want my own family members treated & cared for.
