About Breana

I adore all children, but have a special love for infants & toddlers. I had a nannying job for twin infants that I was with for 15 months, so I have experience with multiples. I prefer interacting with children (completing learning-based projects, outdoor playing, etc.) rather than screen time. I'm a licensed foster parent entering my fourth year of licensure. I have extensive experience with preemies, newborns, toddlers, neurodivergent children and children with asthma including nebulizer and inhaler use. Due to being a licensed foster parent, I've been state and federally background checked and cleared by DHS. I am CPR/first aid certified, and I have taken extensive educational classes like Shaken Baby Syndrome and Head Trauma class, FASD classes, C. A. R. S class, SUID classes, etc., & I'm enrolled in classes to be a certified birth/postpartum doula, lactation consultant & newborn care specialist. I am NOT covid or flu vaccinated. Breana has been with our family for the past 15 months. She has taken care of our twins since they were 1 month old, starting with a few hours a week to eventually coming everyday. She truly has taken wonderful care of our babies. They love her dearly. Everyday she comes into the house with a smile on her face, ready to jump in and take over. The babies are always excited to see her. She has helped us out by cooking the babies meals, helping to pick up after them and assisting with their laundry. She's stayed late when we were in need of date night and taken care of bath and bedtime. We also have a dog that she gives much needed attention to. We are sad we won't be seeing her every week anymore. It was a hard decision, but we've chosen to continue our childcare with a trustworthy, referred, daycare center where the twins will get to interact with other children. Breana will continue to be our #1 go to when we need a sitter and she will forever be a special part of our family.
