About Brandi

I empower students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for long-term success. For the past three years, I've helped students achieve their academic goals, from improved grades to better test scores. I hold a graduate degree and am a certified teacher, experienced with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). I vary my teaching strategies, incorporating visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems to adapt to your student's individual learning style. I break down complex problems into manageable steps to build momentum and maintain engagement. Open dialogue allows me to adapt my approach for optimal student outcomes. I am available to tutor at your home, a library, or a coffee shop. I can help with Math, English, Science, Special Education, Study Skills, and History for elementary and middle school students. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I look forward to helping your student thrive!
