About Brandie

Hi! My name is Brandie, I'm a 29 yr old graduate with a background in creative writing, coastal biology, and environmental education. I love kids and have cared for all ages. I also enjoy all pets. I'm certified in CPR and First Aid. My experiences are varied, having worked as an occasional as-needed sitter, both a part-time and full-time nanny, held relationships with families for a couple visits, a few months, or a few years at a time, been a recreational guide and program leader for children, and taught at both a preschool and a K-8 charter school. I like being very involved and hands on with the kids I watch so I always try to think of games and things we can do together, and I genuinely have fun doing it. The more creative, outdoor, or educational experiences they can have with me (rather than being glued to a screen all day) the better! I would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have about me and look forward to getting to know you and your family better.
