Years ago I became a CNA but decided on another career path. Earlier this year, my dad's health declined. After seeing the care he was receiving, it made me want to do the same for someone else. I decided to go back to school, get my license and start helping people again. I work for a home health company and enjoy the flexibility and atmosphere of doing that. I also work occasionally at a short term care facility. My responsibilities there are bathing, feeding, changing, companionship, along with many other tasks. I have experience working in the memory care unit as well. One thing you should know about me is I care a lot about helping people. I want to do everything I can do to make sure the people I care for are happy, healthy and thriving the best they can. My skills include bathing, housekeeping and companionship. I think those 3 things help the most when it comes to senior care.
