As a National Board Certified 30-veteran Special Education teacher with years of tutoring experience, I believe every student can learn given time and opportunity! I have a graduate degree and create engaging, supportive, and patient learning environments. I assess learning styles by listening and observing, varying my teaching strategies with visual aids, activities, and discussions. To keep students motivated, I break down complex problems, celebrate successes, and provide positive reinforcement. Communication is essential, so I provide regular updates to parents to build trust and reinforce learning. Seeing a student's confidence grow is the most rewarding part of tutoring.
