About Jordan

Hi! My name is Jordan, and I'm a 23-year-old living in South Austin. I graduated last year from St. Edward's University & have eight nieces & nephews (ages 5-14) so I've been watching children since I was young. I've also been a full time nanny for a family with twin boys, and an older brother. I worked for them for two summers. I'm upbeat, creative, positive, funny & fun! I believe in a childcare approach that makes sure I'm taking into account the children's needs & feelings, & try to avoid scolding or punishment & prioritize understanding & talking through difficult feelings that might have led to tantrums, outbursts, or "undesirable" behavior. I love to make music & make art, & have lots of art supplies that I'm more than happy to bring along for the job. I'm responsible, loving, & reliable. I love kids, and can't wait to spend time with yours. I'm a non-smoker, have 2019 Prius, have never received a ticket and am happy to provide any personal references you'd like!
