About Blanca

I have had child care experience since I was 6 years old. I would care for my younger siblings, whenever we were out of school and our parents were working. As I got older, I would care for my neighbors children between the ages of 3 and 5 years old. I would watch their children sometimes when the parents went to work or had to run errands. After high school, I moved in with my cousin and his family and babysat their 6-month-old baby until he was 3 years old. I am an aunt of two beautiful nephews that are now 2 years old and 7 months old. I helped my sister take care of them a few days after they were born, so I do have experience with newborns. In June 2011, I became the nanny of one month twin girls until they were 2 years old. I would do some light housekeeping in the house and pick up after the girls with their toys, also changing diapers and feeding them. During this whole time of being a caregiver, I would read to the children, take them to the park, have coloring/painting activities, and do some singing/dancing activities. I enjoy fun activities with the children. I enjoy being around children and currently majoring in Child Development to become an elementary teacher some day.
