About Blake

Hello! My name is Blake, and I am a 5th grade teacher entering my third year of teaching with over six years of experience working with children. I provide individualized tutoring for elementary students, focusing on academic growth, skill development, and confidence building. I specialize in reading, writing, math, homework support, and study and organization skills. As a classroom teacher, I am experienced in differentiating instruction, identifying learning gaps, and breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps that support student success. I am available for tutoring during the summer while on school break and have limited availability during the school year as well. I will need one planned week off during the summer for a trip, with dates communicated in advance. I am CPR and First Aid certified and value creating a structured, encouraging, and supportive learning environment. I look forward to partnering with families to help students reach their academic goals.
