About Blake

Empowering students to unlock their full potential is the cornerstone of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting learners from elementary through high school, I prioritize creating an engaging, patient environment where you feel confident to explore complex subjects like Science, History, and English. I am currently studying at the University if Missouri pursuing a teaching degree. Here I am learning more about education as a proffession and developing my skills in supporting learners. I have also been to Japan twice, I have been studying the language for five years now as well. In both of these abroad experiences I used my knowledge of english and Japanese to educate others and learn more myself. As a future educator I want to enable others to learn and find understanding in various topics. In doing this I ensure that the student uses their own critical thinking skills to find answers on their own, while being supported. I hope I can help as much as I can!
