My interest in Child Care first peaked at the age of 14 years old. I took a short course and began my love for childhood growth and development through babysitting. At the age of 22 year, I became a Highschool Earth Science long-term Substitute Teacher. I was driven to explore the different age groups of students and what could be learned from me, and I them. My educational career took me through: Paraprofessional, Substitute, Nursery Care, Babysitting, and the completion of my Bachelors of Science in Education including an intro to Early Childhood Education, minoring in Psychology and Biology, and beginning Early Childhood Education I began teaching in the Florida Keys and New Mexico; accumulating and using skills in the SPED and Montessori teaching classrooms.
