I've worked in special education for 7. 5 years, but I have experience with general education students too. I've loved children since I was a child myself. It started with having the opportunity to babysit while the parents sang in the church choir. It quickly progressed to volunteering/working in daycares, camps, and schools with kids. After graduating with my undergraduate degree, I started working at Kennedy Krieger. I developed a passion for teaching as I began as a classroom assistant. After holding the position as a classroom assistant, I moved up to an assistant teacher while getting my master's degree to become a special educator. I can provide a safe, engaging, and fun opportunity for your children while maintaining structure.
