I had a pet sitting/dog walking business in Iowa for over 10 years. I have recently relocated to the Detroit area. I have worked with county humane societies as a foster parent for animals since 1989. I have worked for many people. I also have experience in a caring for a whole exotic animal farm for two weeks at a time! I have also cared fed Russian tortoise! I have been a member of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters and also Pet Sitters International. I am certified in Red Cross Pet First Aid and CPR. I had my own non profit animal rescue in Iowa for many years and I am now involved in national animal rescue online work daily in addition to caring for my two rescue dogs and three rescue cats! I have many excellent references upon request. I have a degree in wellness from the University of Iowa and I keep up to date with all aspects of pet wellness including nutrition and dog/cat food information and recalls, behavior and alternative health for pets. I am a yoga instructor and I do kung fu to keep in shape.

She is very attentive to our dog Fiona and takes the extra time needed to address any concerns that pop up. She is highly knowledgeable about different conditions and illnesses, and can manage any type of care needed. She is also very responsible and communicative. In short, I highly recommend her!
