About Billy Jo

I am writing to highly recommend Billy Jo F as a nanny for your child care needs. She has been with our family since September 2018 and during this time, she has truly become a valued part of our family. I hired Billy Jo through Care.com when my son, Alexander, was 5 months old. I was so nervous looking for somebody to take care of my baby while I went back to work, but Billy put all my worries to rest rather quickly. She was so attentive and loving with my son and truly took care of him like he was her own. I truly felt she was more of a co-parent than a nanny. Many times I would come to Billy for advice because I knew she always wanted what was best for my son. She helped teach him sign language when he was a baby and as he grew older, she was there to help with potty training, homework, moving him to a “big boy bed”, and his transition into the role of a “big brother” when we welcomed our daughter, Ariana, in August 2021. During the time of Billy’s employment, my husband and I owned a busy restaurant, so our schedules were demanding with odd hours, and Billy was always flexible and extremely reliable. While we were at work, we had no doubt our kids, home and dog were well taken care of. Billy truly gives the kids her all. While she is here, there are no distractions, she’s completely focused on the kids. She is “hands on” in every possible way: on the floor playing, walking or playing with them outside, swimming in the pool, reading books or teaching them something new. She keeps the kids occupied and most importantly, safe. Both my kids, Alexander (5 years old) and Ariana (20 months old) absolutely love “B”. She is patient, silly, fun, and loving. While I could speak volumes about Billy from both a personal and professional level, I’ll let my kids do the talking instead. At Alexander’s request, she has been invited to his birthday party every year, she’s been included in many family and school events, and the kids are both always excited to see her walk through the door. They talk about her as they would a treasured family member, and that’s precisely what she is. Billy Jo has all the qualities of a caring, trustworthy and successful nanny. Throughout the years, Billy Jo has truly become part of our family, however with the sale of our business, we do not have the need for full time child care any longer.
