I became a certified with documentation full-time home health care provider for my wife of 20 years. I'm 55 years old. My wife had developed lymphatic cancer. We fought the good fight for 3 years. I was with her continuously the whole time learning how to be the best husband and supporter I could for her. She went through two major surgeries 5 weeks of radiation therapy, 5 days a week. Then we did 3 months of chemotherapy and remutal therapy but the cancer persisted. My wife passed away on the morning of April 14th this year in my arms. I didn't understand what unconditional love really meant until my wife got cancer in a lot of ways it saved us. I know it saved her. I watched true conviction in my wife as she turn her heart to the Lord during these times. It taught me how to love unconditionally through what that loved one was going through. So no matter your situation with your loved one rather it be sickness or deteriorating health or age. I understand what one is going through.
