17 years of dedicated experience as a CNA and HHA, I have cultivated a deep understanding of patient care, particularly in assisting individuals with their daily needs and medical requirements. My journey has taken me through a range of healthcare settings, from private homes to assisted living facilities and nursing homes, providing compassionate care to the elderly, disabled, and those recovering from illness or surgery. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role has been building meaningful relationships with the individuals I care for. I have learned the importance of empathy, patience, and attentiveness, as these qualities are key to enhancing the quality of life for those under my care. Being in the CNA/HHA fields for nearly two decades has given me a sense of fulfillment, knowing that my work contributes to the well-being and comfort of others, often during the most vulnerable moments of their lives.
