17 years experience working in education. Worked in public schools in regular education classes as well as special needs classes. In the special needs classes, worked one-on-one with children following the individual educational plan devised for each student. Classes consisted of children with autism, downs syndrome, CP and developmental delays. Worked in Department of Defense Schools in regular education classes and LIMS (learning impaired moderate severe). Assisted with teacher with educational needs of each child, Worked with children on an individual basis as well as in groups. Assisted kids with activities of daily living such as feeding, diaper changing and potty training and play time. Worked as a practical nurse for 14 years in hospitals, medical offices and home health. I no longer hold a license to practice as I chose to work in education. My hobbies are working out, movies, fishing and bike riding with my husband.
