I have worked with the elderly for 40 years. I started off by working in a nursing home for 10 years, I then worked in a hospital for 3 years, and have been an in-home nurse ever since. I have excellent references and my CNA certification. It takes a really special person to work with elderly and disabled patients. I love working with people because it is very rewarding knowing I've provided help to someone in need that wouldn't be able to accomplish everything on their own. In this line of work you have to be the following which I believe I am to the fullest: caring, compassionate, loving, kindhearted, always happy, and very patient which I feel is most important.
