About Beverly

I'd describe my personality as loving, happy, fun, experienced, creative, empathetic, a lover of children. I am a practicing Christian and a non-smoker. I have raised my own three children and have been a teacher and caregiver to many others. I do have a Bachelors Degree and over 20 years of experience. In my spare time, I like to craft, crochet, paint, travel, garden, and spend time with family. Some of my skills include: -Patience and Calmness in handling challenging behaviors and stressful situations. -Understanding and connecting with a child's feelings to build trust. -Clear verbal and listening skills for kids, parents, and staff. -Empathy to be able to understand a baby's cues and needs. -Adaptability & Flexibility -Engaging children with fun, creative activities. -Safety & First Aid Certified. -Creating educational and fun activities at age appropriate levels. -Organization in managing schedules and routines.
