About Betty

I'd describe my personality as dependable, outgoing and respectful. I decided to work with seniors after seeing how much it meant to my husband that I kept him home instead of a facility first when he couldn't walk anymore and later when he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He died at home listening to Frank Sentra 24/7 knowing he was safe and loved. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my sister her family and I try to be active at church as much as I can. In the summer I also enjoy hiking and kayaking. One thing you should know about me is that they can depend on me to show up and do everything in my power to ensure that their loved one is enjoying as much of a quality life as I can provide. My skills include working with physical therapists or other care teams to ensure that the client is staying as mobile as possible, I enjoy cooking and love preparing food for them that they love and I do every can to take care of them.
