As a residential counselor, I have worked in a group with individuals with different health issues, such as brain injuries, development disabilities, memory loss, diabetes, Parkinson's , deaf and many others. Our main task is to make these people happy, smile and improve their standards of living, we do this by helping them with all the ADLs such as cooking, toileting, feeding, cleaning up the program, documenting , the daily logs, transferring clients, transporting clients to and from doctors' appointments, helping them to participate in some activities, helping them to do some exercises and also I do administer medication to clients.
