Hello Families! I am a certified birth-second grade teacher with New York State. I have an Early Childhood Director's Credential. I also hold a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification. I am bilingual English/Spanish. I have taught grades 3k-8th. I am currently a theater teacher for young children. I also worked as a TSS providing support to neurodivergent populations. I will be retiring in June and looking to offer my services as a tutor. I will provide developmentally appropriate learning to my clients by using puppets, songs, felt boards, props, instruments, and stories. My hero is Mr. Rogers and I have humbly been compared to Mary Poppins! in my career. In that vein, I also offer theater and singing instruction in a fun and unique way. I can also tutor in Spanish.
