I am soon to be a retired school teacher with the New York City Board of Education. I am interested in part-time tutoring opportunities. I have an Early Childhood teaching license with the state of New York as well as a Director's Credential and a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Certification. I have been an educator, Instructional Coordinator, and currently theater teacher. I also worked with children on the Autistic Spectrum providing therapeutic support in the home, community, and school setting. I am a great storyteller and use unique, creative, and engaging ways to enhance children's learning. I adhere to Howard Gardner's philosophy of multiple intelligence. I believe all children are born to rise. More important, I believe in children and the magic of learning.
