About Betsy

With a background rooted in creativity and nature, I love incorporating art-based activities, sensory play, baking, and outdoor adventures into my work. Whether we're watercolor painting, building fairy houses at the park, or going on a bug hunt, I aim to nurture curiosity and creativity in everything we do. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, fishing, canoeing, and volunteering seasonally on a local flower farm-activities that often inspire the kind of hands-on, nature-based play I bring to the families I support. I love watching kids gain confidence, so I often include them in tasks like snapping asparagus for dinner, sorting laundry by color, or measuring ingredients for a muffin recipe. I find my work fulfilling for countless reasons, but I especially treasure watching (and quietly supporting) a kid's independence grow as they develop their own personality. I love planning excursions to parks, farms, libraries, and museums, and my goal is to make every day both enriching and fun!
