About Betsy

With 20 years of childcare experience and a Bachelor's degree in Child Development, I'm passionate about providing compassionate, attentive care tailored to each child's unique needs. I've worked as a full-time nanny for two children (a girl from 11 months to age 4 and a boy from birth to age 2), and I've also cared for a 3-month-old infant, plus served as a summer nanny for two children including a 10-year-old boy with autism. Beyond nanny care, I have extensive experience in child development centers, Pre-K classrooms, and as a summer camp counselor. During the pandemic, I was a virtual learning facilitator for five children (three kindergartners and two 2nd graders). I have particular expertise working with children with disabilities and English language learners, and I'm skilled at developing lesson plans and providing educational activities and support to enrich children's development. My Pediatric First Aid & CPR certifications are current, too.
